-- YeshuaYou are always searching the scriptures, because as for you, you think in them is contained eternal life. Those are the ones that testify of me.
And yet you do not desire to come to me in order that you may be having true life.
Laudation and praise from men I do not accept and I reject it.
Moreover, I have known you from experience, that the love (agape) of God you do not have in yourselves.
As for myself, I have come in my Fathers name and authority, and you reject me.
If another comes in his own name and authority, that one you will receive and esteem.
As for you, how will you believe, when you seek as a way of life laudation and esteem one of another?
The praise and approval that comes from God alone you are not seeking.
At this point in his life, he no longer needed the scriptures. He had transcended the thought of Moses and the prophets. The listeners were still grounded in outdated mindsets. They were still living "an eye for an eye". Jesus realized that the scriptures could no longer assist him.
It is good to consider the thoughts of others of high awareness but they can only take us so far.
If you put a frog in a box with a lid, the frog will attempt to jump out. After so many attempts of hitting the top of the box the frog eventually gives up. You can then remove the lid and the frog will never attempt to jump out again.
What must be done, and what will be done is to continue to write your own scripture. You can build on the foundation of past wise thought and experience but unless we are transcending what has gone before us, we are stuck in mediocrity and conventional thinking. We have allowed someone or something else to define our reality.
Its as if theism relies on atheism or it would have no purpose. Its as if atheism depends on theism or it would have no existence. Both of these boxes must be pushed to the extreem so that the sides blow out and the concepts, from both perspectives, are transcended and discarded as past points of reflection.
Do not ever think or believe there is a ceiling on experience of what is and is not possible to accomplish with a leap into the infinite. Once the leap is taken the universe responds to the faith and assists the effort. The nature of the All is to respond to this kind of daring, dauntless attempt. Its as if the universe itself is informed of the effort and offers its own reward, urging the whole of you onward.
Impossible is a word found in the mouths of those who do not understand and secretly hope you will fail. The innocence of the eternal that scoops you up and carries you on will ever be unsuspicious of what you desire to accomplish. The clarity of compassion will propel with a momentum all of its own, and give without restraint, a supernatural consciousness when compared to past experience of self limitation.
The alternative is to do nothing with a great deal of skill.
Once the leap has been taken the thoughts of others are irrelevent in the sense of no longer being needed to test our progress. Infinite thought and experience is beyond comparisons. One of the most certain signs of wholeness is to be void of envy and unforgiveness. Whoever envies another admits their own inferiority and it is fatal. It becomes easier to forgive than for another to ask for it.
The quality of thought rushing through the mind becomes astonishing to your self. The choice that you make in each moment is the source of the quality of your life's experiences. Naturally and very easily it raises you to the level of the divine truth as you introduce acceptance and forgiveness and get out of its way. This endevour helps us to become more conscious of what exactly we are choosing for and where do we put our focus.
If one is determined to experience enlightenment, no matter what may come, and willing to do absolutely anything, these are the ones who actually make it. The path of the truth is more simple than most explanations in that it is the consciousness that connects the manifest to the unmanifest and moves in both realms. Compassion is binding in its nature and it is without needs, conditions, or properties of any kind. It allows all possibilities, whether evil, stubborn, stuck, silly or giving away power to appearance.
Compassion only gives itself away to alleviate suffering and to heal the whole of what is. Wisdom leads us to see beyond the 'that' which divides and allows 'whatever it takes' to create the experience and understanding for the mind to shake the cobwebs of misperception from the internal projection of attachment. It is willing to be a fool, stern, passionate, and outright rejected to heal all conditions and to assist in expansion, growth, and transcendance of self imposed limitation. To see nothing but enlightenment and the experience of such in all that is beheld or die in the attempt is what the universe responds to. God is an all or nothing proposition.
If all you behold is the face of God in every reflection, you see clearly what is the truth. If you see many different faces, you may still be in separation and seeing the them work for and against each other. It is only through ruthless honesty and unconditional acceptance that true progress can be made to allow clarity of experience. The more evolved in thought and awareness one is, the more important it is to make the choice and align with purity.
If one cannot come to the place of knowing, one must bring the place of knowing to the self. We must gather the courage to look God in the eye and be at home with what we see. The name of God is then revealed and it sounds amazingly similar to your own.
