Does Marijuana Alter Logic

Well, it wasn't marijuana that I lost a good piece of writing to, I lost it to fucking cyber space again! That's twice that happened today, both were good pieces of writing. Gawd, it's awful when that happens, why the hell does this forum have a time-out and expires, then I'm expected to log-in a second time, that's when I lose my work.

This is frustrating, I don't appreciate losing my work one little iota!

What's the logic to writing, it's to get a message across, when the message is not delivered, it logically becomes necessary to rant/complain/or just state the frustration this has caused, to let go of that fucking frustration immediately or anger will accumulate and fester inside like a rotted stinking corpse.

Ryan, I see you've changed your tune a little, and even came down to earth a bit and admit you toked in your youth, perhaps preferrance was the initiator of truth!
I haven't actually changed my tune, I still believe Marijuana is generally not beneficial, and one can be fully rational and conscious without it. And because I am a minimalist by nature, I prefer to do without what I can. It makes ones body/mind stronger.

Mensa says: I am a minimalist also by nature. A roof over my head, a little food, coffee, my computer and my pot is all I need, oh and my very precious friends, and my Bible.

I was basically just agreeing with certain statements that Marijuana is a light drug, but not without its negative effects. However, just because it is a light drug doesn't mean it is desirable to use regularly.

Mensa says: oh, but it is desirable to use regularly!

Overall the long-term negative effects of using Marijuana outweigh any positive effects it may have, as these effects can be achieved without the drug itself.

Mensa says: Anything medically diagnosed usually indicates long-term and have negative effects, so why not enjoy one's life considering it takes many years to show it's adverse side affects. I'm living with short-term memory loss due to smoking weed, so how much worse could it get?

I only shared my personal past to illustrate that I do have life experience with drug use, experience that I learned from, and experience that I realized that drugs are not of much value. People who are bored with reality are the ones who generally experiment, but if reality is amazing enough for you, there is no reason to alter your consciousness.
Mensa says: Honesty is a valuable thing, experience is another valuable thing, because from your experience comes honesty which is valuable in aiding others.

Mensa says: The main reason I smoke pot is not because I love it, but because I need it to give me the euphoria feeling that is robbed from me through my monthly injection. The neurotransmitter dopamine in our brains is responsible for the euphoria we feel. Euphoria is wonderful elation. The dopamine in my brain is being blocked from producing to much, which in turn stops me from feeling euphoria at all. So my smoking pot is a necessity to my feeling any kind of euphoria.

Now, now kiddos, calm down and pace yourselves!!

From prior experience(s) with mary jane, a puff or two of grass was alright. Hint hint.

Cocaine? The government (big brother) says that will cause one to jump in front of moving automobiles, freight trains and landing aircraft of sizes. Thanks, but no thanks. However, flying a kite while high on crack sounds kinda groovy though not with a lightning storm in the vicinity. Note: it got Ben Franklin on the $100 dollar bill.

-Mensa continues her tirade-
If you're telling me I'm on crack you're mistaken baulzy!

Never tried it but I've heard of it (and seen it smoked) back to about 1987 or so. Back then , it was referred to as "rock".

PS - Chris Rock, what a beautiful choice!

Queen Invites David Cameron To Palace

I've used marijuana for 14 years and I'm just about to smoke another joint. Averaging about 3 joints an evening, one every 2 hours, and that's pacing myself. I've learned to draw out the intervals between consumption, but its been difficult.
Queen Invites David Cameron To Palace To Smoke Bong Hits
London, England - Queen Elizabeth II was in a cheerful mood last night, after her meeting with the new Prime Minister, David Cameron. The queen has met with every incoming PM since Sir Winston Churchill. The cordial meeting is an opportunity for the queen to both meet and to get stoned with her new Prime Minister. It is a royal custom that goes back to when Queen Victoria smoked a few joints with Gladstone.

The queen tossed back her gray head and took another deep hit from the bong. The weed they smoked was extremely strong, and came directly from the Buckingham Palace gardens.

David Cameron got up to leave, but couldn't find the door.

"Oh, the door is behind you!" laughed the queen. "Bong hits for Churchill!" she yelled to Mr. Cameron as he stumbled out the door.

Does Marijuana Alter Logic?

I've been questioning my mind if marijuana alters logic and I conclude with my own belief that it doesn't, but that perceptions are altered instead, while logic works to make sense of the perception. Logic actually alters perception by changing it into meaning by deriving reason from it's non-sensical state, in other words logic works to find reason from an altered mind.

Thank you all for your perceptions and knowledge on this matter.

Nothing alters Logic in the ultimate sense.

Your perception of it may be changed, but A=A remains true.

you stoned and thinking up is down = you stoned and thinking up is down
