I don't see how I could have made it easier for this block-head to list three things he disagrees with about The Secret philosophy. OBVIOUSLY there is nothing contained in the philosophy block-head disagrees with and yet he is certain the philosophy contained in The Secret is "worthless". Now, that is dumb to about three decimal places.
I have explained to you that The Secret does not contain three things. If you insist on calling it "philosophy," you are clearly beyond rational discussion. The hysterical tone of your posts with all the capital letters and font size and color changes does not win you any debate points, either.

But if this transparently vapid fad of Rhonda's makes you cream your panties, go for it. You are obviously the sort of person who is challenged by coloring books - the world is even big enough for fruitcakes like you.

Renaissance wrote:The three main things I like about The Secret are:

1) The Secret shares important truths, that have been around for thousands of years, in a really amazingly cool and easy to follow format.

2) The Secret makes it clear that the thoughts we think, especially with passion, tend to manifest things into our daily experience whether we consciously realize it or not. So the more you complain the more you will manifest things to complain about. The converse is also true in that the more we think about manifesting a more wonderful and happy life the more the circumstances of our personal universe rearrange themselves to conform to the nature of our consistently held passion-filled thoughts

3) The Secret’s ‘Jack Canfield’ truly inspires by showing how The Secret played THE MOST important role in the success of his ‘Chicken Soup For The Soul’ book series (and there are MANY of those books in the series). It’s easy to believe him for his success is very easy to validate. I never even knew of most of the other people who share wisdom in The Secret before I purchased and watched the DVD over and over and over and over and over and over…etc
I found it easy to list the three main things I like and agree with regarding The Secret. Since you find it all worthless you should have no problem whatsoever listing three things in The Secret philosophy you disagree with and why you disagree with them. If you truly know what you are talking about you would be able to find something you disagree with on each page of the book.

I disagree with the choice of background color on each page of the book. It makes it hard to look at.

It should be obvious that if the book had anything of substance to convey, it would not need the frilly layout.

If someone writing a serious research paper were to list this as a reference, he would get laughed out of academia.

But again, the world is full of gullible people. I simply choose not to be one of them.

You are indeed a joke. If you don't disagree with the three things I have shared then you call The Secret "worthless" without being able to disagree with any of the philosophy contained within it. Now, that is the true definition of a very stupid person.

(((ANYONE))) who puts The Secret down condemns themselves to having money and happiness fly far from them, according to the universal Law of Attraction. YOU are the loser, block-head.

Jack Canfield was already a great success before he participated in The Secret. You feel he is a gullible person who doesn't know what he is talking about?

There are a couple of quantum mechanics Ph. D. scholars who expound on the the philosophy of The Secret. You feel they are just gullible people?

Who the hell are you again compared to them? A nothing nobody destined to go nowhere in life worth being.

I gave no such agreement because no such lack of understanding is in evidence at this time. People don't have to meet your demands.

Well, someone's money flew far from him and direct to Rhonda Byrne. All I know is that it wasn't mine.
Jack Canfield was already a great success before he participated in The Secret.
Thereby proving one doesn't need the DVD or the book to be a great success.
There are a couple of quantum mechanics Ph. D. scholars who expound on the the philosophy of The Secret. You feel they are just gullible people?
No. People who lose their hard-earned money to them are the gullible ones.

Okay, I have something to confess:

Recently I have been entering a new and most powerful phase of my martial arts training by performing advanced Tai Chi exercises in a swimming pool. I have been pushing myself day after day after day and have reached new unparalleled height in my martial arts advancement. After I exit the pool I once again shower and then go to the weight room and put in a workout.

Well, what I recently thought was a wax buildup in one of my ears has turned out to be “swimmer’s ear’ which is a painful infection. I initially tried to cure it using peroxide and that just escalated the problem. I am now using special drops specifically made to cure swimmers ear.

The point is that my recent negativity has been the overall result of my frustration with not being powerful enough to heal myself. I have taken it out on some of you and today I suddenly realized that…

THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR ME TO BE NEGATIVE FOR (((ANY))) REASON!!!

I must admit I am tempted to be angry at you idiots for doing your best to bring out the worst in me, but I now feel certain the concentrated negativity I have been indulging in recently is exasperating the problem and making it worse. So, I have decided to suspend all negative judgments, to the best of my ability, until this problem with swimmer’s ear is cured and gone.

I still go to the pool and am developing THE MOST INCREDIBLE MARTIAL ARTS TAI CHI OF MY LIFE, but I am careful to keep my head above water and my ears as dry as I possibly can.

If any of you were truly spiritually advanced you would have told me that it does not help me to indulge in the negativity I have been recently indulging in. Unfortunately, none of you did so because you obviously don’t have a bloody clue. It took the Spirit of Nature to directly reveal this to me…to my embarrassment. I should have known better. I supposedly learned this lesson a long while ago!

Forgetting important lessons can be such a drag!

Oh well….

Sure am glad I finally remembered!

I have to agree with Renny on this one: those Secret books are wonderful, I've read all of them and regularly refer to them. All my success I owe to them.

My Secret Nut-Garden is my favorite. Rich, multilayered, factual where need be, ecstatic in the next breath. Relevant and marvellous.

Nut-Gathering Secrets and Strategies of the Jungle, I admit is a bit of a heavy read, but that is clearly compensated for with the abundance of maps, charts, ingress and egress routes, and so many nifty ways to beat-out the competition. I give it a hearty 'Wings-Up' and 4 nuts out of five.

Renny writes:

"The Secret’s ‘Jack Canfield’ truly inspires by showing how The Secret played THE MOST important role in the success of his ‘Chicken Soup For The Soul’ book series (and there are MANY of those books in the series)."

Harrumph. All very well and good, Renny, EXCEPT if you happen to be a chicken or any other defenseless bird. I see no reason why we need to be sacrificed for the benefit of your 'souls'. A little critical self-analysis is in order...

Warm regards,

This really says it all for me. What more comment do I need to make? If you can't get The Secret to work for you well...tough luck.

Everything works for the best and there is a good reason for all that happens to me. In accordance with my faith so it is. Whether I fully understand that reason or not is completely irrelevant. I trust in the process and through my trust I accept what happens with humility and gratitude.

To expect any compassion from you people is pointless and through your lack of compassion you prove just how spiritually advanced you truly are.

Oh well....

If I eventually find that my indulging in my recent intense negativity is what caused the ear infection to intensify, according to the Law of Attraction, I will not be surprised.

I wisely choose to be grateful for the good in my life anyhow.

All will be well.

I wisely choose to humble myself and through my humility and gratitude I will attract and manifest health

I say this is the truly 'smart' way for me to react to my ear infection

Yes, I know all about it. I have certain neurotic characteristics that when I indulge them it turns out badly, I start gnawing on my claws, or lunging back and forth on my perch. I sympathize as well as empathize, and there's not much more wonderful than the empathy and sympathy of a Macaw, y'know?

"I wisely choose to be grateful for the good in my life anyhow."

Yes. Yes. Why just the other day I was bitching and moaning because I had no fresh food in my dish, and finally I got to a point when I just SAW I was going over the top with my distress. So, I sat right down and said "Lord, I know you are there, I know you hear me. Help me through this distressful moment!" Well, it wasn't 30 seconds later that a crisp wind blew down the hall and lifted the newspaper lining at the bottom of the cage, and Lo! what do you suppose was there but a perfectly intact, not even browned, gorgus piece of fresh apple! There IS a God! There IS a God! He EXISTS!

I crawled up the top of my cage and hung UPSIDE DOWN and snacked on that apple for the whole afternoon! Thank you Lord, THANK YOU!

"All will be well."

What? Me worry?

"I wisely choose to humble myself and through my humility and gratitude I will attract and manifest health."

How does one become smart?

I feel compelled to answer this question from more deeper insight.

Education and Smart are two entirely different things, education is learning
while Smart is teaching.

Education doesn't mean smart, it means educated. One can be both educated
and smart. And one can be smart and not educated, how smart is that really?

Smart leads Educated, Educated follows Smart.

Smart was born into smart, smart developes into smarter.

Stupid developes slowly with no data input, but developes knowledge with data input, but
doesn't develope into Smart.

Stupid shows stupids ignorance, ignorance can be developed into knowledge.

Smart is not about knowledge, Smart is about accurate thinking, aimed to benefit from.
Smart goes hand-in-hand with Intelligence.

Intelligence is ability, awareness, and genius

Humans were not created with equal intelligence, levels of understanding comes from the measurement
of awareness one is born with.

Smart is something inherently born.

I'd say what I have just learned that to indulge in negative thinking while trying to attract health cancels itself out. I take full responsibility for the intensely negative thinking I have recently been indulging in. There is NO EXCUSE FOR IT!

Not because of you, not because of them, not because of ANYONE!
