YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
What is so amazing to me is how men are standing on a whale fishing for minnows. In every way man turns, the wonder of life's source has always stood as a beckon of hope to show men they are never alone, nor forsaken creatures left on their own. This beckon of hope is pure Consciousness. This is what men as J. Campbell, C. Jung, J. Goldsmith, Jesus, and Gautama the Buddha were pointing towards within themselves and telling mankind of. They knew It was here. They found It in the only way It could be found. By having the courage to take responsibility to move beyond the pointers left by those who came before them.
All people's dreams are the same. All dreams message, and point the dreamer to seek to find the ever renewing, ever unfolding expression of infinite life within them.. It is "the light that lighteth every man who cometh into the world."
This light is a beckon of man's moving Spirit expression filling all space in man's thoughts of time, of distance, and matter. To men, it appears only as a speck within the vastness of the dark tunneled minds he lives from. Nonetheless, that speck is the light of Godhead. It is omnipresent within the vastness of the dark human intellect. Neither here nor there can It be found though. But It is here, and It is here as all creation. It is one life living as the source of all life. BREATH. There It is. But even with you being consciously aware of It, your mind cannot tell you where It is.

So you are saying then that 'pure consciousness' is the 'essence'? This, what we experience, 'ever unfolding expression', as the fundamental nature of things? "Tao". It seems like that is what you're referring to, if so, I agree. The problem is people begin to talk about it is as a separate, when hearing words like 'God', then they pray.jufa wrote:It is one life living as the source of all life.

They are certainly not, just like people dream up radical different understandings from a Jesus or Buddha while kidding themselves with new found illusions of universality, a "pure" consciousness" or spirit which ends up being more like a product, a statue made out of ones own mostly culturally inspired misunderstanding of emptiness.Jufa wrote:All people's dreams are the same...

Well, not to push you over the edge, but when you get a really bad problem that creates suffering in you, and you realize that this problem has no solution, none at all, and intellectually you realize that the only way to possibly ease the suffering of this problem is to die. And so, you die to the problem.
Life goes on. This is what the evidence of living indicates and so the mind, faced with the mortality of the body, has this expectation that comes from experience, the certainty that awareness does not end.
Yet the evidence indicates that the body, through which awareness perceives, does end. It dies and decomposes and there is no evidence of the awareness in the remains of what was. This creates a koan of sorts. To intellectually approach a resolution, put evidence on Occam’s Razor and see where it tips.
What if what is known from experience, that awareness does not end, is in fact the truth?
Based on this premise, and what is known from experience, awareness would necessarily be housed in a form of some sort. Based on the known discrepancies between human and animal perception, and from what scientific instruments measure beyond the limitations of human perception, we know that the human apparatus is limited in the data it collects from reality and presents to awareness.
In measurable ways, we directly experience what we can perceive of reality.

Re: YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
That seems to be following what you said in the other thread about death.
You didn't reply as to if you were saying it does or doesn't end. All you said was, "What if".
What if, you had an inkling, then you'd know for certain that the dissolution of the body has naught to do with the continuation of awareness, which does continue. ( Simply because 'death of the body as an end' is a delusional idea with no support besides that you imagine some kind of finish.)

Re: YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
The problem found with this topic being presented is found within the message itself.
"The desire to explain things is an admission of ignorance. So, the starting position is infected with ignorance. It is inevitably wrong. So, we should be prepared to recognize it as such and to revise it when it is possible to increase its accuracy."
Idealism, atheism, theism, or any philosophy, or discovery are all isms dealing with concepts, opinions, theories of assumptions. None of the above are definitive. So how can a finite mind say what knowledge is when the finite cannot comprehend the beginning nor end of infinity? Knowledge is another word for discovery of bits and pieces of what is believed to be outer objective visions of that which is never seen beyond fragments.
People know only that which has been passed down from other men who have expanded on things passed down to them from others. People know only that which others have given them to accept or reject. We know, therefore, to expand beyond the limitation of the human mind. To find that knob which will open the door to allow us to step through and over the human mind beyond the bubble of human thought which denies the original "I" of Life to be the Origin of man. "Man must come to realize, in consciousness, that birth is an illusion, which, when believed to be truth, gives birth to imaginative forms which have no bearing on his becoming the unity of all within his consciousness that is pure, whole, perfect, and complete." - jufa

Read about your experience SeekerOfWisdom. Stopped there for what you experience and conveyed is not heresay. Thank you!
SO WE BELIEVE - by Julius Fann
Our words are those of the spirit we accept and live by, until we project them upon the spirits of others.
Then they no longer belong to us so we believe.
And how they are accepted or rejected is of no concern of ours
so we believe.
Touching, and forceful our words may be,
yet in sending them forth with certainty
does not necessitate our freedom from uncertainty.
The Bee Gee's ask: "How can you mend a broken heart.
How can a loser ever win?"
By recognizing where we're going is where we've already been.
Does it began with recognition we are irresponsible to demand
our words be interpreted in exactness of our feelings and thoughts,
when the world is relative to individual comprehension of experience, and inner wars we've fought?
And those warriors of like kind as we,
are only so in shape and size,
but inside,
I am they, and they are me.
When call upon them to hear and read our temperament,
they have the right to express the roads of travel they've bent,
in casting shadows of sentiment.

Re: YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
How can I read about my own experience? You should take a look seeing as you love to express what you've realized, maybe reading from someone who does it a lot more clearly might even help you with that. Not to mention you are probably only this way because of the writings of others.

How can I know what I am saying if I don't write it down? - jufa
There is no logic for anything man does in the arc of living. Why? because there is no logic for why the universe is, nor the elements within the universe, which includes man. Man has no choice, however, but to question and seek to uncover this mystery which is not logical. Nonetheless, all the thinking and assumptions, opinions, theories, and concepts [as yours above] delved into concerning anything is always a continuum of what others have given to the world to expand. All we know we know because someone or something has given or passed on to us. So it is impossible to think with a lesser amount of error about anything because all we know, if it has not been a direct experience, is hearsay.
This means the only thing we know [other than what we have experienced] is what our outer objective vision, and inner subjective feeling interpret based on our dealings of the past, which is dead knowledge kept alive in the continuum of what is now. This makes us walking dead men or women because it keeps us living between two world.
God, truth, whatsoever God or truth you believe exist or do not exist has been, and will always be, a mystery. And what ever supposed sacred book one reads and believes in, does not reveal this mystery. What is revealed in all writing except the writing within ones Spirit of life, is always dualism.

Except for your writing and sacred words of course? Writings are pointers toward that 'mystery'.

Or, as it happens, away from it.
Re: YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
My question is in regards to the mystery. Are there questions which there are no answers to? Our ability to make value judgements get us no closer to answering these questions than a fish in a pond who does not ask "yo whats up with this pond?"

Re: YOUR MIND CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE IT IS
If a question doesn't have an answer, then the question is most usually faulty in itself. i.e. there are questions that don't actually make sense. e.g. Where did the universe come from?
