Population Explosion? or just Chat?

Post by Kelly Jones »

I've noticed that discussions have been moving fast recently. Keeping up is hard, as there are pages and pages of new posts every day.

If it's a population explosion, then perhaps it's time to create new fora. Satellites or branches, to cope with the numbers. Alternatively, a Chat subforum might satisfy those members who are keen to discuss issues immediately and at length.

On the other hand, the main cause may be off-the-cuff gut opinions, which are out of tune with the thinking man's theme of the Genius Forum. In this case, a drying out subforum could be of benefit!

I think a line has to be drawn somewhere. Feedback would be interesting.

Solution

The best solution is to just concentrate on the one thread that interests you the most, and ignore the rest.

Also, if you make sure you post only quality posts, it will encourage others to do the same.

Sometimes there is a burst of activity on these forums, and then it dies away again after a short time.

Also, some people only post comments and criticize other peoples work. If you're one of those people, please post a proper explanation for your opinion. If you're aa ignorant, self-satisfying,
fool, who thinks the information/question is below their intellect. Them don't post anything!

Thanks;)
