Renaissance wrote:The three main things I like about The Secret are:

2) The Secret makes it clear that the thoughts we think, especially with passion, tend to manifest things into our daily experience whether we consciously realize it or not. So the more you complain the more you will manifest things to complain about. The converse is also true in that the more we think about manifesting a more wonderful and happy life the more the circumstances of our personal universe rearrange themselves to conform to the nature of our consistently held passion-filled thoughts

3) The Secret’s ‘Jack Canfield’ truly inspires by showing how The Secret played THE MOST important role in the success of his ‘Chicken Soup For The Soul’ book series (and there are MANY of those books in the series). It’s easy to believe him for his success is very easy to validate. I never even knew of most of the other people who share wisdom in The Secret before I purchased and watched the DVD over and over and over and over and over and over…etc
You people must realize that it is far too late for you to disagree with what I shared in this post. You had your chance to say it was worthless baloney. It's too late now to sincerely say so and make your statement believable

How many times are you going to keep re-posting this? It's as meaningless as it was the first time.

And baloney isn't worthless. The Secret franchise is.

But everybody needs something to believe in, I guess. You're likely out nothing but the expense of the DVD and book. A rational person would cut his losses and move on. But an irrational person would say, I have already invested in this book and DVD, so it must be worth while. The irrational person will ignore the fact that his fortunes have not changed and keep telling himself that there is some valid wisdom to this insulting pseudo-philosophy. He cannot see that someone has merely taken Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking and dumbed it down even further.

The irrational person will keep repeating over and over what he mistakenly takes to be a profound insight. He might even go so far as to keep repeating it in an online forum. He has himself convinced when other, more rational people point out his foolishness, that they cannot possibly be right, because he now knows the secret, and they do not. Moreover, he is certain that all he has to do is keep repeating it over and over until they have become worn down, at which point he will declare his triumph.

Yes, the irrational person cannot get it through his thick skull that people who are less easily bamboozled than himself - which consists of almost everyone else - do not give two shits about him and his "secret."

The doctor prescribed antibiotic drops for my swimmer's ear. I spent Thanksgiving feeling as though half my head is stuck in the mud. I had forgotten that I had settled this matter. Silly me

I take full responsibility for attracting and manifesting this swimmer's ear problem. I don't know how or why, but I take full responsibility for the illness and I also take full responsibility for the healing.

It's okay. I'll be the better man and let you people win.

You feel The Secret is worthless?

Well, then YOU'RE RIGHT...

...as far as YOU are concerned

I am a completely different matter

In accordance with my faith

The Secret works fantastic!!!!

and this, in and of itself, is the sweetest revenge!

Thanks for keeping me (and all the other interested viewers) up-to-date. I was terribly worried about you - you hadn't written here for at least 3-hours .. how are you?

Had you considered using the turkey's wishbone to cleanse the ear of extra water (on the brain)? Better than a pig-in-a-poke ear.

Oh no, you're not getting off that easy. Cousin Trevor, Uncle Brokie and Grandpa Carl deserve full credit.

Ever hear of the band, Wishbone Ash?

Not sure about your reference here, Tomas, but they were one of my favorite bands in high school. Even saw them in concert once.

It's amazing. You people who are certain The Secret is just a scam and doesn't actually work are absolutely correct...for you. People like you are doomed to have The Secret be completely ineffectual for you. What more revenge could I possibly want against you? By working against The Secret you work against your own success in life. The truly 'smart' will find this extremely useful:

Oh, it had to do with Rennie's ear problem and fixing it with a turkey's wishbone.

Last saw them at Santa Rosa, California

They seem to tour the East coast every year esp. some place called Sellersville, Pennsylvania (Sellersville Theater) and Blawnox, PA.

Revenge for what? Nobody has done anything harmful to you in the slightest.
By working against The Secret you work against your own success in life.

You are the 'dream stomping' type. You and your kind have occasionally crossed my path in life. You have no faith in anything and you enjoy crushing the good and wonderful dreams of others.

Yes, indeed I am in the process of having my revenge upon all you nowhere 'dream stompers' by Intending tremendous success with the Law of Attraction. It is a sweet revenge and one I truly enjoy manifesting.

I will continue to increase and you will continue to decrease in accordance with your lack of faith in limitless possibilities.

When you proverbially throw The Secret down you throw yourself down along with it. Oh well.... To each his or her own fate.

However, your Mind & Body thread is slipping down the drain. Better rescue that so the smart people will remain smart.

Ah, come on Shah. He needs to be studying those Star Trek reruns for more nuances on Sulu. He's obviously some 27-year-old nothing who's been nowhere but is in love with Oprah Winfrey .. the big (and fat) pyramid scheme..

If you would search into the matter you will most definitely find that many true genuises were and are "loony'.

Chances are you will also find that most are not rich like I am.
