That is one of my favorite scenes.
Alongside the one where she and her brother are hiding outside the ship. They go in and she says "that was fun. Can we do it again?" He looks at her like she doesn't get it... but I think maybe she's the only one who does.

But, anyway, any show that requires thought to understand is destined to be cancelled and we are left with Survivor and Luke's backwards baseball cap (err... Gilmore Girls. My father is obsessed with why a man that age would wear a backwards baseball cap. It's like they never heard of fiction...)

I know that I have sinned - - - but sinning is an important part of self esteem.

Again with the religion, and religious metaphors.
Perhaps I make it seem like i treated the woman like a prostitute.

Know, I was courted her like a gentlemen, but she didnt understand my longing for the unassailable power!
Then you were wrong. You abandoned your values for a lay. And you were not Honest, to boot.
AH! I mustnt dwell too much on her, or else my heart shrinks!

Rory,

"The Grinch Who Stole Sin"

Or, can it be stolen?

Is stealing a sin?

Sinning a sin.

Leyla,

It was Harper's line - though, in this case, a little more difficult to find.

In the classic 1966 animated short, there is a scene, yes! A scene! Where the protaganist ("Grinch") is atop a mountain, top. And as the snow slowly falls, so does his green envy greed. Then, his heart does a thing. Yes, in a frame, his once "shrinking heart" begins to grow, and grow. Until it blows! Up!

Then, he dies.

No my friend. I say with my heart that that is not true.

It is not always for sexual gratification that men pursue woman - - -for me, the lust and body pleasure was a secondary thing.

In my case, it was about feeling normal, it was about feeling like a man.

It was about my mother and father expecting me to be normal.

It was about my friends bragging about the pussy!

I felt like an alien! I felt abnormal. So, even though I wanted the unassailable spiritual power, and i was determined to first taste the normal life.

You know what its like to live in a community with other kids and the grown ups who all pressuring to be more ideal?

To be creeped out and disdainful toward the man who is different?

Getting myself a girl was important for my self esteem. We shared good times. I made her laugh. I did things for her.

And I experienced ejaculation! (a few times, hahahaha)

Before I only knew of ejaculation in the wet dreams that I would have to my terror.

I initially prefered to stay away from woman. That's what I would have liked.

But there is too much pressure to be normal.

But now I can proudly say that I am above it all and have greater faith in the greater power!

Elizabeth web spinner!

The root of the unassaiable power is a great death.

Combine the intervals of this great death with the initiative to plan a life that is not wrapped around the spindle of womanish comfort!

The unassailable power is having the freedom to suffer far away from the world. One suffers because one is so far away from the high branch of family!

The spiral.

The lonely ground.

See a leaf on the ground decay. That is me breaking up.

See the leaf snatched, stolen, disintegrated and integrated into forces of a spring that spans so wide! One is no longer the leaf, but the force of spring that spans the forest. The energy of spring. And this spring is eternal.

The greatest freedom is such great delicate vulnerability - - yet the assimilation is so invincible!

And this great vulnerability (the greatest weakness) is the unassailable power!

Aaron,

To be understood by those responding to you in this thread you'll have to drop the metaphoric speach and speak in more literal and direct terms. In short, drop the poetry. They are just not getting it at all, which is interesting, as I knew what you meant from the beginning.

However, you might want to look at how much of a contradiction exists in these two statements:
"But now I can proudly say that I am above it all and have greater faith in the greater power!"

"AH! I mustnt dwell too much on her, or else my heart shrinks!"

Dan Rowden who comes darkly! please consider:
You might want to look at how much of a contradiction exists in these two statements:

"But now I can proudly say that I am above it all and have greater faith in the greater power!"

"Ah! I mustn't dwell too much on her, or else my heart shrinks!"
But Dan my friend - - - it's true that I am not polished so perfectly that a small sensual, nostaligic, romantic and wistful thought does not potentially lead to another one, and another and another. Thoughts can indeed snowball and squash my heart! But I don't let it get that out of hand.

But I my faith is not so strong that the heart and mind do not fluxate to the rule of my past.

But the rule of my faith goes against the stream of my past.

I paddle against the current quickly, sometimes I falter, somtimes i get sucked back for a while.

But the faith is the reason why I go against the stream.

My faith is as great as it can be at this stage of lifes way.

But not SO great that I don't sometimes go feverish in the turgid, shallow waters.

Who has faith like that? That man, or those men.....they are a great golden village against a green hostile wilderness.

I come from the wilderness, I see above the animals, and look down at them with both love and a ruthless eye. I walk with faith. But I am not without an entity within, an entity, an energy, a demon that steals. But what has he to feed on?

Not as much these days. less and less. Soon their will only be crumbs and he will be frail. he has already been weakened enough.

Enough that I can laugh alone and cry whole heartedly.

The pig still feeds from the grain, but the the great famine is coming! Luckily, I am of no body, I am not one that feeds from what goes into a mere silo, I am not even the farmer.

Sometimes I get thinking and it seems innocent enough, but the next thing you know I am masturbating. That is the bad entity who eclipses faith. That is the animal, the pig, feeding on the grain.

When the groin goes hard, the mind goes limp.

The poor pig. He is innocent enough. But he must be slaughtered and left in extinction.

A man can have great faith, be noble, but have times when the power of a noble heart becomes usurped by a hot and turgid entity of thought.

Let the entity feed on whats left of the grain in the silo.

Lets not waste the pig and lets not waste the grain.

The faith is great enough to cease replenishing the old useless silo, even though, I let the pig feed on the grain at times.

The faith is great enough to not plan for more pigs.

The last supper awaits!

Aaron, I'll be straight with you.

You were pressured into doing what everyone around you wanted you to do, and realized afterward that what you did wasn't that impressive. Now your guilt at your own gullibility is trying to make it seem like more than it is, just like everyone else does (so others can share in their collective guilt). That is not independence. You obeyed like a child, behaved like an animal, and now you believe you have somehow learned from it and become an independent adult.

You give yourself away, though. You want a teacher, a guru. You want someone else to tell you exactly what to do to achieve a better, more fulfilling rush. You are still completely dependent on others.

My advice for you is to keep fucking chicks. You learned nothing from this experience. Keep fucking them until your glasses are fixed, and you can see more than two seconds in front of your nose. See what the consequences are. Since it is clear you have no ethical qualms with using the females of your species for your own self-improvement, use chicks to learn about cause and effect. I'll give you a hint, and I guarantee you that you'll read this incorrectly: every time you fuck a girl, you cause something else to happen. And that causes something else. In fact, fucking the girl in the first place was caused by something, and what caused you to fuck that girl didn't stop creating a new series of events as soon as you climaxed.

I think I'm through teaching you things.

Thanks, but I prefer the brain. The heart tends to get me in a lot of trouble; I've decided I should listen to it less often. :)
You know what its like to live in a community with other kids and the grown ups who all pressuring to be more ideal?
Believe it or not, we all grew up on this planet (well, I kind of question Elizabeth, but the rest of us did! :p ) Everyone gets pressure to be normal; the question is, do you give in?

Everyone experiences pressure.
It takes a certain presense of mind, and dedication to not fail and fall into that trap. There is nothing *good* about breaking down, letting go of your beliefs, and giving into lust. A dog can do that.
But now I can proudly say that I am above it all and have greater faith in the greater power!

And now you must break that pride...
"pride goeth before a fall" - out of the bible, yes, but occasionally it makes a good point :)

Well, yes, that's fair enough. That was a nice post but I won't bother responding to all of it. The bottom line is: women haunt. It takes a highly developed soul to get past that completely. But you will have to learn to think about women, or Woman, in a different manner, because you must think about her. Instead of thinking of the woman without, try and concentrate for a while on the woman within. Look at your own mind and see how much of her resides there. How much of her is merely a product of your own femininity and your own imagination?

Put Woman in a Petri dish and see what grows there.

Trevor you make me sigh in depression.

I wanted people to put wood on this great fire and fan my flames, but you refused and dampened my power. Noble devil!

Yet after a fresh pile of wood burns, the fire may not be as high as it once been, however, the death of this first fire, is the birth of coals. A foundation for a greater flame, and greater feast. The hearth has become a bit more sunken, a bed of coals a bit more developed. It was hard to get the fire going the first time. With the help of these new coals, it shall be easier from here on.
Now your guilt at your own gullibility is trying to make it seem like more than it is
So I am the man who over-rates what he has, in order to smother his guilt and even envy?

I don't know what you mean here Trevor.

You obeyed like a child, behaved like an animal, and now you believe you have somehow learned from it and become an independent adult.
HA! Well indeed I have learned! I have greater faith and foresight, there is no doubt. And how is it that I am not an independent adult? I live alone. Trevor, are you stuck in a bit of a rut now in life? You seem to be the bitter hops. Alcohol is a depressive. The masochist might enjoy you - - -but I sense you are a troubled, bitter fellow. However, there is something I like about you. I know that you are my superior. but then again, I am superior enough to sense you are inferior.
You give yourself away, though. You want a teacher, a guru. You want someone else to tell you exactly what to do to achieve a better, more fulfilling rush. You are still completely dependent on others.
Well, if this is the case - - -then you have done a noble deed by throwing the big crushing blow to this ego. The Great hero Trevor!
My advice for you is to keep fucking chicks. You learned nothing from this experience. Keep fucking them until your glasses are fixed, and you can see more than two seconds in front of your nose.
I guess you are pulling the old reverse psychology trick? If not - you trevor are the great fool this time!

Great power Trevor!

You are quite the righteous one.

But doesnt the depressed one try to make others feel guilty?

My you are a difficult man not to praise. My femininity is this steam-whistle of praise for those men who really make things slow, dry and good. (as opposed to fast, wet and bad)

Rowden. I've thought it over - -tell me what you think of this:

A fresh new Genius forum thread is like a petri dish. A petri dish can be seen as the foundation of woman. Why?

Because the foundation of woman is earth and water.

Woman cannot germinate on a foundation of only Air and Fire. And so the Petri dish is of earth and water. And from earth and water there is inoculation and the spreading of femininity, which is a germ of earth and water, titillated by air and fire. There is no femininity without masculinity, for the organic needs to follow the guidance of fire.

The first post in that fresh new thread (that Petri dish) was a post by Aaron.

How woman was that post? How feminine was that post ?

The degree to which an initial post is womanly, dictates the quality of the branching that results from that initial inoculation.

The sort of reply’s I drew were not led by great fire.

What could have been said in a small post, took pages to draw out.

Fungus/moss growing on the walls of genius forum.

The reply’s of my post were my offspring.

And how weak those replies were! Weak offspring – weak father. I am sorry my children!

Aaron, maybe you will understand it this way:

You planted your womanly flower in the fertile soil of this forum, and bees have come along to pollinate your flower and share in your nectar - but alas! the flower has closed up for the night - closed out of shame of being pollinated and feels raped of its nectar. The head of the flower hangs heavy with its petals curled in, totally unaware of the germination in place!

Ah, soon, the rains will come, and flowers will again bloom because of the pollen of the many flowers, because of the nectar that draws the bees, and the pollen exchanged from flower to bee, and bee to flower!

You are lucky, oh flower of Aaron, to not have been stung by the bees! But be wary in how fast you close your petals as the bees come to pollinate you; you may know not what they do!

Trevor, I feel guilty about this. Forgive me.

I want you to be well. Your way is dark and bitter! A slice you cut and then spit into it a salty venom.

I wanted you to hurt back.

But now I want you to be only well.

That is the way with Aaron sometimes.

But that's kinda the point... stop being on fire and crap. You think too highly of yourself. This fire and flame and religious metaphors and power... you can't become wise until you realize that you are not wise.
And how is it that I am not an independent adult? I live alone.

This very sentence demonstrates that you are no an independent adult. There is a lot more to it than living alone. It is even possible to be an independent adult and still live with other people. It is a question of mind, not a question of finances.
