Re: Not having a purpose is insanity
Yes.. meaning the reasons and purposes they think they have are all wrong, there are options with a lack of choice, making them insane (Like the echidna, running in the same circle for 20 minutes on bare ground looking for ants). The mind instantly reverts to whatever it feels will give it emotional or mental satisfaction, all thoughts are based on sense experience, which we have no control over, and hence have no control over thought, there are no exceptions.

Yes I am in the gestalt of certainty about that, the same way the "not-knowing" campaigners like Lao Tzu and Confucius were in the gestalt of certainty about certain things. True knowledge, wisdom.

Plato's idea of Republic.
A Ruling Class of philosophers entrained in consequences stands to reason where there is no reason.

God damn fuck man.
My ultimate purpose behind wanting that group was exactly this, the whole time, "How fucking great will that mind be!!?? What could not be achieved?" I can't imagine how much this would expand my insight.
The rest was a general attempt at showing that all members can achieve whatever it is they wish to achieve and they will be assisted by all.
I was really under the impression forming this would be an obviously essential thing to do, seeing as how rare such a thing might be.

Re: Not having a purpose is insanity
for the ultimate sake of which?
requires a list of 'in order to's' to be carried out.
the first cab off the rank is the elimination of erroneous thinking.
in regard to that,
the set of assessments has to be drawn up.
articulately expressed and flawlessly argued.
the set of options would have to show the consequences entrained in erroneous thinking.
and the consequences entrained in a 'genius mode' of thinking.
out of all that the winning formula appears as 'bright and clear' as a moving toward.
there's no light at the end of the tunnel for human being.
there is the realisation that human being is the light or lack of light that forges ahead.

Why do you think I have thought erroneously? You assume I have thought erroneously because I'm simply not like other people in certain ways.
I agree with what you have said, but I was planning on figuring these things out in the group with assistance, as the results will be more accurate wouldn't you say? Human being can be the light that forges ahead, for him and for other human beings, or he can be the lack of light...

It's not the doer, it's the deed.
When I say I love you because I love you.
No reason.
there is no reason for it.
I'm out of my mind.
I am Buddha nature.

If you loved everyone cause you loved everyone, you'd be trying to help everyone, not leaving them in the gutter or the dark.. and if your only trying to help a few, then you are consciously leaving many in the gutter or the dark, especially when it is immensely within your capability to help up to millions more.

Winning formula.
Definitely the only possibility for a winning formula.
I love it because it's miraculous and incredible, I regard myself and others as angel like beings, capable of the highest form of creation and understanding out of all known beings. I regard most of the people on GF to be rare and significant as I believe real* thought to be rare and significant. The closest thing to higher knowledge, higher existence, is wisdom or understanding, as this brings about higher awareness, and expansion of awareness is growth of consciousness.
"You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection."
Buddha
I think more than anything this is telling people to believe in themselves as opposed to doubt or constant insecurity. To see millions of these incredible beings wasting what they have, asleep, working five days a week for half their lives as a check out chick or some drone following commands kills me, not only does it mean that am I surrounded by these people, but I am almost alone in my thoughts, ambition, and even general awe of things. I am living every day knowing that every one of these people can come to realization, to life, to light, all they need is a little push, a little help. I feel a waste as long as I'm not doing something, as long as I'm not using what I've got, like them.
With the rise of the internet, this push could be given to whatever number, there just needs to be people like us who are already capable, to use their capability and push, or pop as many of those bubbles as you can.
"What is a good man but a bad man's teacher?
What is a bad man but a good man's job?
If you don't understand this, you will get lost,
however intelligent you are.
It is the great secret."
Does a fire provide much warmth if it catches on a single and lone twig?
... convinced?
Definitely the only possibility for a winning formula.

By the way don't feel too special :b What distinguishes me is that I could go on with debates or ideas forever until things worked out, a lot of people just stop for one reason or another.

You can look at everything like its a miracle or nothing like its a miracle, miracles only become ordinary or familiar if you are viewing them with the past present.

be the fearlessness you are.
I'm just saying the mood you are contacting as an enrolment possibility is:
same shit different day,
comfortably numb.
painting by numbers.

Re: Not having a purpose is insanity
John,
Isn't the truth the truth of you.
breaking thru' means opening up to oneself.
aren't you split into 2 moods?
on the one hand is the vision of creativity, miraculous outcomes.
on the other is the dread of going thru' life in a desultory mood of resignation that means:
same shit different day,
comfortably numb as the best to hope for,
going thru' life 'painting by numbers.'
the moods are yours?
the recovery of full consciousness is an individual process.
a process of individuation.
to individuate is to get free of herdship.
Isn't the grok available here that what's showing up is the situation in my mind and not the situation I'm projecting out there.

Re: Not having a purpose is insanity
How I'm viewing things is a reflection of myself not an outcome of the external world yes, misfortunes originate up here, but it's less of a misfortune and more of a lack of fortune, the fortune part being the good use of creativity. For example, not many people use GF and there aren't many posts, if I were to be posting as many topics as I thought of or wanted to discuss, I could make use of my own mind and the minds here, but that's unrealistic as this whole forum would be flooded and people don't have as much free time as I do. So, still, at the moment I am thinking all day long, about things I find interesting and incredible, while surrounded by people who stricltly talk about mundane things. Any conversation about the mundane, food, people, places, events, things of this world, I find very very boring and useless, in this way I am an introvert, my thoughts go unheard, I would rather be putting all that I have out there and progressing. This is my only problem, if I had a real voice, I would be using it, just need to figure out where and in what format that voice should be.

Re: Not having a purpose is insanity
We seem to agree on a few things,
existence being of a dream like nature.
the vehicle for the dream being consciousness.
the experience of consciousness being the experience of contents.
a contentless dream is unheard of.
in order for the dream to work out,
has to be something about the contents being meaningful.
some contents have to be avoided and some contents attached to.
looks like a cat on a hot tin roof.

Yeah I agree on those, not much more to agree/disagree on after that, and I did like what you/Plato said about being trained in consequences in order for things to work out. as it is the only way to do anything really, to act with intent and planning rather than the opposite, it's true, but you haven't really provided a solution for the problem I mentioned? How to act, what to do.

I have, the meaning I've given it is to live in it and achieve in it, I mean't a solution to the voice problem, thoughts.
