For all you hypersensitive egos in the crowd tonight, the subject of this post is meant as a joke...
Is a Wise-man only wise because he sees clearly what he ought to avoid?
New age thinkers suggest that one should face everything in life, and resist nothing. I don’t know about that.
Isn’t it wiser just to avoid something that is undesirable. ie: superficial people.
Avoidance = less experience = less suffering = less thought = clarity of being.
Is experience only for those who are bored with life? Is there anything new to experience? I don’t think so.
The types of people that get excited over the thought of traveling, or drinking, or going to a Christmas party, having sex, etc…. Isn’t it experience that they value?
Doesn’t experience amplify our suffering?
Doesn't experience cloud the mind?
What is the relationship between an ending of experience and an ending of the ego, are they one and the same?
Perhaps the ego is experience.
