The list was then (from memory) roughly 100 male thinkers and philosophers, and roughly 3-5 women who seemed to be somewhat more inclined to value reason above feminist pursuits. I was pretty lenient, and would probably not include so many now.
May we see that list Kelly?
No, I'm afraid not. Owing to realisations at the time, about how difficult enlightenment is, and how I had about 0.05% chance of becoming fully enlightened, I was in a deeply depressed state of mind. I deleted all my files, sold the computer, and moved to Tasmania. This was last March.

I've just bought a computer, and am now retaining more of what I write. Because it's just come home to me what an incredibly difficult task I have, not simply because of Kelly Jones' background, but because of that of the human species', I am again considering the topic of how to train women to be men, with greater honesty and care.

Anyway, I was immediately so disgusted, that I gave up the endeavour. It was a huge shock, and more of a challenge than I had been expecting.
Why disgusted?
Do you know the sensation of eating something that looks good, only to realise it has gone off? You really want to spit it out, as soon as possible.

Over the past few weeks, I've been thinking about how to encourage people to jump the social picket fence. I've decided I must write a clear account of how utterly at odds women are to wisdom. So I will probably be revisiting the theme.
So you're a book writer. Any published titles?
No, I'm not a book writer. Most of my writing is on the forum or in emails, because I'm in training. My immediate necessary training is not to become a better writer, but to be enlightened.

Generally speaking, I spend only a minute or so in enlightenment, several times a day. It's a huge improvement, but is so brief because it's associated with happiness, which destroys it.

This, improving the ability to stand in the mind, and to think without any visual tokens, is what I'd prefer to focus on. It will also make a great difference to any conversations in person, which have tended to awake ego too much to communicate with 100% rationality.

Hi again.
In your first paragraph above you seem to be saying or implying you are not yet enlightened. But then following you say you spend some minutes there daily. Would you straighten me out, please!
Are you male or female? I understood you to be a woman. If so this has to be the first time I've seen a claim of enlightenment coming from a woman as masculine as yourself. well, this is no small thing! If true, don't you realize how amazing and important this is? That you may be the only such enlightened woman in our world, that you think you are wiser than all other women. Again, this is no small thing. clearly you are indeed a very intelligent person, quite rational. Usually claims such as this do not go unchallenged here, but as far as i can tell yours has. Im attempting to make sense of this. Is it that teachers here already know you or have met you?
I recall some time ago when another woman, Birdofhermes, was appearing to make such a claim. Well, the list owners pounced on her immediately and really let her have it! But in your case nothing was said.
So I'm beginning to think, just maybe you indeed are the first and only Enlightened female the world has ever known! This is, this may be, simply incredible. But you seem to just take it in stride, like its nothing at all truely significant.
On the other hand, maybe you distinguish between "being" enlightened (for instance, as GF moderators are/claim to be) and "spending time in" enlightenment. If that's what you're doing, please do clear that up for me.
Isn't it true that while spending time in enlightenment there is no happiness, feelings, etc, not simultaneously? If you agree with me here, then what do you mean, do you mean your spending time in enlightenment is some lesser state or form of it, not pure, not even for a moment? while being enlightened you define as totally pure?
thanks.
Oh, do you recall the names of any of those 2 or 3 wisest women you had compiled in the past? Surely you must consider yourself more enlightened than they are/were too, if that makes any sense, since you judged them, and neither were you satisfied with what remained of the list names.

How is this well known....

Is true enlightenment only that of which is spoken and brought to light by men?

If so....Is this because men say so?

And may I ask what is your definition of enlightenment.... ?

The Banner of "Genius Forums" mentions "Masculinity" for some reason.

I meant to put Genius in VERY large quotation marks. Also, I don't know much about this forum but I don't know why "Masculinity" is put up with Truth, Courage, etc.etc. and I think its creepy, frankly.

There aren't serious truth or wisdom seekers here. Genuine truth and wisdom seekers go to sites like neosocrates.org

That site you link to puts out its vitriol in other shapes and forms. For example, it calls scientists and professional people "rather arrogant and limited in their so-called “thinking”". It calls business leaders "the most pseudo-philosophical representatives of learning disabilities on the planet". Further it talks about what is called an "anti-ontological conspiracy that pervades humanity as an unconscious collusion, a zombie jamboree.".

And then you find it 'creepy' when some other site prefers 'masculinity' attitudes in thinking and rejects the 'feminine' way of dealing with truth.

I find it way more creepy and sloppy to reject 'professional people', business people, leader types and so on, than something just called 'feminine mindset', which is well defined and doesn't target any specific group, not even women persee.

Anyway, I'll look further to that site, but it doesn't look very mature so far.

Sophia, if you're asking M101 then I'm not sure if he'll reply. He posted only once on this forum it seems, starting this thread.

My own guess is that 'fairly well know' is just that: what is known by tradition indeed mainly written and dominated by men. But it's more interesting to examine the present. Have you any comment on what was further written in the thread, the experience and observations posted?

When some women make the mistake of apologizing, they are banished from the retreat...

Remember in my Respect thread what I said about a nurturing enviroment if you hope to change people's oppinion? This quote makes it sound as if he has given up. What a weak and lazy individual.
He's doing this as an attempt to display his own masculinity, sounds like an insecure man to me. It's like making fun of a dog because they lick their genitals aftery they make waste. What point does that make?
