Another post here, some interaction in the real world, and watching reports on the presidential campaign crap (US) on the compelled me to add the following: The primitive* element of the species, will always bring things down to a lower level that, will make the proper (ideal of real; individual sovereignty) impossible. The tactics play out, in such a way, as to force more rational people to have to play down to the primitive level.
*These are the people who capitalize on ignorance and help to propagate it. They look at others as targets, or cogs to leverage. They use simplistic fallacious arguments, to rationalize what they do. These arguments only work on the average person, who has little time (by choice really - because they buy into the propaganda and spend their life on the treadmill), and are easily picked apart. Those who rely on them, count on numbers of ignorant - so dressing them down on the intellectual mat, has little overall affect (just confusing/frightened the person putting forth the propaganda - if they believe it - a zealot**, or frightening/enraging the cynical con artist**, whom you have just intellectually pants)

**often a person born into privilege, who never questions how things actually work - or they are purely cynical social climbers. Historical examples abound. A perfect one would be the US slave industry (the cotton industry that was huge - to which the north's industries helped supply - nice hypocrisy) of the old south. Many of the people thought they were in the right, and the heaps of money they were making was justification of their own deluded self image. The people who benefited from this, were willing to go to war, to keep the institution in place. They were willing to buy into the fallacy of black people as sub human - to justify their practice, or they were just cynical scum capitalizing in a most brutal fashion. Both types HATE having things questioned and brought out into plain view! This example, and the underlying mechanics of it, are common. Sometimes it is obviously unacceptable and people eventually fight it (as in the example above). Other times it is far more subtle, and people are unable to see it.

So I reiterate this with emphasis: Worry about the quality of your own life. You will not see this get better in you life time - and the odds (enormousness, huge - these adjectives are completely inadequate) are that it never will.

Then we as a group can start growing and eating foods which balance our neurotransmitter levels instead of going after artificial neurotransmitter stimulators like drugs, alcohol, television, porn and music, which over-stimulate the neurotransmitters receptors temporarily and cause a significant drop in neurotransmitters, depression/boredom, when the artificial stimulation comes to a halt. A continuous addictive vicious cycle.

The only things people need are.. food, shelter, sunshine(Vitamin D's), socialize, be active and sex.
