Does anyone else here know about Adam Curtis? I don't think he is a genius but I think he is halfway between a genius and a normal person.

Yeah, a good filmmaker indeed. Some interesting lines of thought I found a while back. The Trap as well as The Power of Nightmares were certainly worth watching at the time. The most recent one I watched was All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace. The most important thing about his work is that it makes you question and there's always very interesting and at times unique footage and music supplied as well. The only element missing from his work is the to me obvious link between "them" and "us". The mega-corporations, politicians or ideologists are just as well us. In the end he's documenting humanity more than anything else, but through the looking glass of a medium which has a funny distortion in and of itself.
