US Banks -are they just money laundering for the Mafia?

I was watching some show recently I can't recall, maybe Stephen Colbert, where the bank CEOs were being interviewed in relation to the rescue package.

They all looked and sounded like they were people being interviewed for the John Gotti trial.

and then this
http://www.smh.com.au/business/555k-per ... utostart=1

People paid at above what there is any justification for them to earn, don't ask questions of the heircharcy, thatr would otherwise come out. US major bank staff are no different to Enron employees.

Last week, I also watched Sicko for the first time. ..and then what happens is that a trad democrat state elects a Republican suckhole (ohh look at my beautiful body!) to perhaps ruin the potential advance of reasonable compassion.

As a result of the above I am presently feeling the strongest dislike of the USA that I've ever had. Once the effect of the US debt starts coming home to roost, then things will only get worse, much worse.

It is time for the rest of the world to start rejecting the US as a country to pay respect to in any way, wherever possible. Clearly, they are Romans at the end of their reign.

Secret Banking Cabal Emerges From AIG Shadows

Wednesday's (Congressional) hearing described a secretive group (New York Fed) deploying billions of dollars to favored banks, operating with little oversight by the public or elected officials.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was head of the New York Fed at the times of the AIG moves.

It's as though the New York Fed was a black-ops outfit for the nation's central bank.

"I had no involvement at all, in the payment to the counterparties, no involvement whatsoever," Paulson said.

Fed Chairman Bernanke wasn't involved.

Who's Left? A Few Ultra-Rich and the Tapped-Out Masses

[snips]
Our elected politicians and appointed bureaucrats in Washington have become no more than highly paid, but ugly
and atrocious actors, pretending to represent the American people.

Ross Perot, forced out of the presidential race of 1996, warned us about the dangers of both GATT and NAFTA,
but the International Banking Cartel wanted both Trojan horse "trade" agreements forced on America, in order
to eliminate her as a beacon of hope and light in a dark world. In the Cartel's One World Order there is to be
parity amongst all nations all equally poor.

This black hole of derivatives is now about ten to thirty times the gross domestic products of the whole world,
meaning it's about ten to thirty times what is needed to throw all societies of Earth into a neo-feudalism.

Even junior plutocrat Warren Buffet said America will become a nation of sharecroppers,
one he helped to make. Full article >> http://www.rense.com/general89/whos.htm

10 Signs The U.S. is Becoming a Third World Country

The United States by every measure is hanging by a thread to its First World status. Saddled by debt, engaged in wars on multiple fronts with a rising police state at home, declining economic productivity, and wild currency fluctuations all threaten America's future.

The general designations of the ranking system for world status date back to the 1950s

Banks profit from near-zero interest rates: Another reason for states to own their own banks

By Ellen Hodgson Brown, J.D.

The state-owned Bank of North Dakota (BND) helped North Dakota escape the credit crisis. The BND has a very large and captive deposit base, since all of the revenues of the state are deposited in the bank by law, keeping the bank solvent regardless of what is happening in the interbank lending market. North Dakota is currently the only state not struggling with a budget deficit.

Nations could follow this model as well >> http://www.webofdebt.com/articles/banks_near.php

The Takedown of Glass-Steagall

The Role of Barney Frank in the conspiracy to end the American system

History of fascist banking empires vs. Roosevelt & Glass-Steagall Banking Act, Nixon ending the gold standard, how Alan Greenspan killed Glass-Steagall and shifted the industrial economy to the present financial service economy, how Rep. Barney Frank supported the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 and remains actively opposed to any re-enactment of Glass-Steagall.

If the Democratic Party wishes to survive, it must cease being the party of Barney Frank and Barack Obama. In order to restore its legacy as the party of Franklin Roosevelt, it must, immediately, boldly, and unequivocally, move for the reinstatement of the full and complete 1933 Glass-Steagall legislation, in direct opposition to Barack Obama. Only Barack Obama's immediate forced resignation from the Office of President, can insure the survival of the United States, and the restoration of Franklin Roosevelt's dream.

Why the U.S. Has Launched a New Financial World War -- and How the Rest of the World Will Fight Back

Finance is the new form of warfare -- without the expense of a military overhead and an occupation against unwilling hosts.

What is to stop U.S. banks and their customers from creating $1 trillion, $10 trillion or even $50 trillion on their computer keyboards to buy up all the bonds and stocks in the world, along with all the land and other assets for sale in the hope of making capital gains and pocketing the arbitrage spreads by debt leveraging at less than 1 percent interest cost? This is the game that is being played today.

The key is to persuade foreign central banks to accept the electronic credit >> http://www.alternet.org/news/148481/why ... age=entire
