The sad thing is that that seems to be the only requirement for U.S. presidency. Being a "helluva" guy got Bush Jr. elected twice and Obama once ...so there's still hope for your ol' gal Sarah.
Personally, I see no redeeming value in Palin, save for the fact that she's good fodder for the comedians, including the ones here at GF, ahem, Carl. ;)
