Well, I don't think you did anything wrong. Discussion is more important than technical matters, but it does get kind of tiresome when there winds up to be 5 or 6 discussions in a 10 page thread (in fact, I think I'll move this reply to a new thread). I'm not trying to make a big deal out of digressions, but maybe it would help if people started new threads more often?Matt: No, Ed, you're fine. Your idea just sparked an ongoing debate that Cory and Millipodium have been engaged in. It really belongs in a different thread, and it's unfortunate that individual posts in a thread can't be moved to a new thread by a moderator. But oh well.
Cory: Yeah, I'll try to avoid taking a thread too far away from its dwelling point in the future, but somtimes two things that seem non-related are actually quite vital to each other.
