I would like anyone with good poetry to post here.

How the World Sings
As I set off on my quest,
through kudsu covered trees,
through mountains in the west,
across the northern seas,

I look upon my life,
and see nothing but a speck,
in a world full of strife,
I WILL complete my treck,

I have never done a thing,
to help the world at large,
All the world does is sing,
as I stand upon this barge,

Sad songs of loss,
and mad songs of battle,
I look upon the moss,
and find that we are cattle,

The Earth hangs over,
and conrols with giant strings,
most cannot hear it,
but HOW the world sings,

It sings of joy,
and of glee,
But there's a ploy,
I can see,

The Earth has something,
to rid us of our feelings,
It will emplement the land,
as the world sings,

It sings of death,
It sings of life,
and other wonderful things,

Others may not hear it,
but how the world sings,

i am full of it
i write poems made of bullshit
and i think i'm great

I dont make poems to be true, only to sound good.

Shade, you're 14? If so, that's pretty good for a 14 year old. I made poems too, and I still do. But if you're an adult, I don't think going to a philosophy forum and posting your poem is cool. Especially at this forum...you're supposed to post things like this in the "worldly matters" section.

I think it's kind of disrespectful to do what you've done. It's like walking through someone's front door and shouting something incoherent. First of all, it's disrespectful to just barge in without knocking...second of all, you're bothering the people of the house. Maybe if they're cool people and it's a house where everyone shouts incoherent things at eachother, they'd get a kick out of it. But if it's a quiet house, it can really annoy the people there.

Not saying that I'm really annoyed. I just think it's disrespectful.

I actually meant to post this in the other forum. I believe that other intellectuals like yourself would have much more musical poems than others who write their "omnipotence" into their creations.
