He said science is like "a hose full of ants". So cool.... but I wonder how Jewish Kabbalah fits in? Science or metaphysics?

Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy investigating principles of reality transcending those of any particular science.
Science is the effort to discover, and increase human understanding of how the physical world works.

Kabbalah is a discipline and school of thought discussing the mystical aspect of Judaism. It is a set of esoteric teachings meant to define the inner meaning of both the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) and traditional Rabbinic literature, as well as to explain the significance of Jewish religious observances.

There it is in a nutshell I wikied it for ya.
