The Meditation delusion

IS BUDDHISM THE ‘WORD OF SIDDHARTHA’?

The Meditation delusion. By Paul Hess

To the seeker the source of ‘Chitta’ the thought process is his unique ‘Dhamma’ the cosmic law the creator of his elusive world the process of Dependent Origination. However in sharp contrast, according to Buddhism as in all religions, the thoughts originate in the brain an organ of the body based on the law of causality. Hence the body posture and a suitable location play a vital role in their meditation practices to calm the body to calm the brain the so-called mind.

Your thought process reflects your Dhamma. “Experience this empty process within mindfully every moment with the ‘Mental Factor’ the concomitance Sila, Samadhi, Wisdom to guide your ‘Chitta’ the inherent nature of which is duality on the ‘Middle Way’ to neutralize it”, said Siddhartha. This unique process enables the seeker to renunciate his elusive world of body and mind he clings to as ‘I’. The end of all formation.

‘Meditation’ a common feature in religious, ascetic and yogic practices is based on the blind belief the body is the cause of suffering. Therefore, to end suffering it was believed the solution was emancipation from the body through meditation a myth.

All that we perceive as reality with our five senses the deceiver in conscious and unconscious states, dreams, and in meditation are illusions. Unable to grasp the ‘Word of Siddhartha’ for what it is and engaged in those very practices rejected by him looking for so-called ‘Enlightenment’ a mirage, don’t you see you are on a witch hunt spurred on by monks, yogis, ascetics and meditation masters?

‘Body and mind’ are illusions and here you are told to meditate to silence the body to silence the brain the so-called mind’.
