The illusion of 'I' and consciousness.

Post by Bradley West »

IS BUDDHISM THE ‘WORD OF SIDDHARTHA’?
The illusion of ‘I’ and consciousness.
‘The so-called ‘I’ is a mere spark in the process of Dependent Origination’.
The ‘Chitta’ the thought process is the creator of the elusive ‘I’. Trapped in its world your life as a Buddhist revolves around trying to save this ‘I’ from the so-called suffering of ‘Samsara’ to seek the bliss of ‘Nibbana’ oblivious to the fact the ‘I’, Samsara and Nibhana are all illusions. Don’t you see you are engaged in an exercise in futility by running after so-called holy men and their religions?
However, for the seeker to comprehend this elusive ‘I’ for what it is, Siddhartha revealed the ‘Sathipatthana’ the only way possible for him to grasp within the ‘Emptiness’ of so-called ‘I’ viz. the body, feeling and ‘Chitta’ are Dhamma the empty process of ‘Dependent Origination’ where there is nothing to be defined.
Where there is ‘I’ there is consciousness and where there is no ‘I’ there is no consciousness. Hence to the seeker of his Dhamma both ‘I’ and consciousness are illusions creations of his dualistic mind.

‘You are your Dhamma. To seek it only you can. Don’t let so-called
holy men and their ‘sacred books’ lead you on a witch hunt’.
