I believe in things because I exist.
My beliefs are dependent on my existence; my coming into existence is not dependent on my beliefs.
If gods exist then the gods are dependent on existence; the existence is not dependent on the gods.
Existence is infinite.
Existence is more primary than gods.
Gods are not needed for the existence.
