Capitalism and the need for Egalitarian Comformity

It is a interesting relationship how the capitalist system functions best in nations who adopt a sort of egalitarian mindset. The danger of such a mindset is that the populous becomes accustomed to never being attacked psychologically, and so anyone who criticizes in a threatening way towards the ego is seen as an enemy to economic stability and general order within society.

People are encouraged to refrain from speaking about controversial issues at work because it is seen as a danger to productivity, societal order, and the complacency of the ego.

Inner discovery is left to the privacy of ones own home, in secret, where it cannot harm the status quo, away from the world out there, the world busily functioning to keep the ego's desires at bay...
