I hear what you're getting at... especially in a buddhist meditation kind of way. In general, there is often too much talk and not enough thought.

But this is a forum with an apparent focus on thinking and sharing thought, so you're advice might fall on deaf...er.. keyboards.

I've tried shutting up in the past, but I couldn't shake the idea that, under those strict circumstances, I may as well be dead..... and reckon we'll have lots of time for silence when we're dead.

Yes, but you have to be enlightened to make only one hand clap. That's the ultimate test of your enlightenment. That, or plucking a pebble from a fast moving Lama's arse.
