the mind dedicated to logic effects our experiences and environment, these in turn effect our mind ~ the experiences and environment of dedicating oneself to logic shape the mind. So "they" - irregardless of whether they are a sage or not, cannot help but shape their mind depending on what they dedicate it too.

Quote:Quote:
Sapius: The point being discussed is the necessity of "emotional" strength to stand by a logical decision, logic alone may not lead to an entrenched realization. And by ordinary people I mean not necessarily a label of sage attached to the person. And that such a causally created mind need not necessarily be committed to the "cause of wisdom" for there is inherently no one to save, unless one feels the need that "others" may benefit from it.

Yet it is the getting there that sets up the cause. It's not about saving anyone, or even seeing it as a benefit, it is just a consequence of a mind dedicated to logic.

If you see someone struggling with a awkward bundle, the reflex to reach out your hand and help steady the bundle is automatic, it's the same for a anyone who is dedicated to logic, it becomes a reflex.

It's like saying you value the reality that there is no greatest thing! When in fact you really value ultimate truth, because if you didn't value ultimate truth you would never of gotten to that conclusion in the first place.

Sure, both become automatic, but what is the reason for it becoming so?

You will help steady the bundle automatically because you care for others, you want to help them, and the same goes for a person dedicated to logic, or does it not?
