Weininger- genius traits

Post by SBN Charles »

It seems to me, from reading Sex and Character by Otto Weininger that weininger had the ability to break his experiences down into the shortest moments in time where upon his conceptions ocurred, where as people with less trait of genius within them jump from larger consecutive moments of time, missing out the parts weininger picked up on and wrote about in great detail, is this what he talks of great memory and a timeless ego in relation to the traits of a genius?

I think he was talking about a perspective that is larger than most people's. By placing a high value on this larger perspective, the individual moments become more significant as they are related to it, enabling the genius to remember more.
