Trent Reznor

Do you guys think Trent's huge depression during the times between The Downward Spiral and The Fragile was mainly caused by his realization that the overwhelming majority of his fans cannot possibly understand his work?

I'm not too familiar with this artist. Could you explain wherein his complexity lies?

We can't possibly know why another is depressed, except for using ourselves as a mirror. The ego is what causes and feels depression, it's a defense mechanism in the face of nihilism, which in can't be filled by decadence.

LOL - "genius-mode" :)

One thing to remember: geniuses aren't born, they're made. But it's also another thing to get ahead of one's self.
