Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
Relief. End of seeking. Trust. Appetite for living. In love with being. In awe.
Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
So basically you didn't know yourself what you were asking about. Thanks for wasting my time, you stupid old bag.Carmel wrote:I meant it as an open-ended question, to answer however he so chose...

Dennis:
Do you mean has it given him certainty, peace, joie de vivre, warmth of being?
What are you getting at?
Carmel:
lol! I do believe you have given our lil' friend way too much credit in presuming that he has derived any of these benefits from understanding "Ultimate Reality".

There's no rules as such about there being a correct mood.
If being 'mean' is where it's at,
then it's open for aesthetics,
the possibility of finding beauty in 'meanness'...

Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
This is simply false. Obviously, there is no infinite number. But if you can "always add one more" then you have just demonstrated that there are infinite series.Denis Mahar wrote: All series are finite (limited) by definition. There is no such thing as an infinite number because even the number series is limited (although you can always add one more, you are always at a finite number).
Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
You're wrong. It's ugly...trying to defend or excuse it, is even uglier still...Dennis Mahar wrote:There's no rules as such about there being a correct mood.

Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
What does it take for considerations like right, wrong, beauty, ugly to have appearance.
What does it take for logic to appear.

Ugly is as ugly does...Dennis Mahar wrote:What does it take for considerations like right, wrong, beauty, ugly to have appearance.

Logic, it takes logic for logic to appear, of course.

1 + 1 = 2
Who made it 2.
We did.

Great, now be a pal, and try explaining that to your lil' misguided friend jupiviv.
Thanks in advance. :)

Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
who made it ugly.Ugly is as ugly does...
You did.
Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
No, jupiviv, in a fit of ego induced hostility, threw a childish temper tantrum, thereby interfering with his logical processes, the result being he called me a "stupid old bag" thereby reducing his actions to the level of an immature child.
Your attempts to excuse this are equally as childish as his behaviour as well as a distraction to the goals of this forum. Give it a rest.

Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
I'm talking about the pulling of 'ugly' out of a list of adjectives and applying it in a speech act to an appearance.
Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
Do you prefer the adjective " childish", or perhaps "immature".?
You're wasting my time, your time and everyone's time here with this.
So, Dennis, back to the thread topic, do you think time travel is possible?

Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
It was more an expression of regret at the fact that all my responses to you were pointless because evidently none of them got into your head. And since I've already wasted time responding to you, I'm now going to satisfy my ego even further and call you a lascivicious cow. Go have sex with theoretical physicists(who are also into zoophilia), and stop bothering us over here.Carmel wrote:No, jupiviv, in a fit of ego induced hostility, threw a childish temper tantrum, thereby interfering with his logical processes, the result being he called me a "stupid old bag" thereby reducing his actions to the level of an immature child.

Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
You probably meant lascivious. I don't think a cow can be lascivious, however. Kind of Freudian that you typed "vicious" into the word.jupiviv wrote:And since I've already wasted time responding to you, I'm now going to satisfy my ego even further and call you a lascivicious cow.
Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
Watch out for lascivicious cows, they is nasty.

Typo - I was deciding whether to call her a lascivious cow or a vicious cow. Here in India there are a lot of cows, and some of them can be quite lascivious, especially when chewing cud. However, a theoretical physicist who is into zoophilia may not want to have sex with a vicious cow.
Re: Is time travel to the past impossible?
socially retarded kids, you're an embarrassment to yourselves and this forum.
tsk tsk
really you guys oughta take it to you-tube...you'd fit in well there.

Take the word apocoplypse for example: just make it back in one piece.

Energy burning goes forward in time.
Energy retracting to where it came goes back words in time.
I know it is not impossible. Nothing that the brain can conceive is impossible.
