Re: SOLITUDE - the DESERT - the WILDERNESS
You'd think a blow-up man doll would suffice and with the technology an up-to-date mannequin with several added holes for an extra-kinky affair would suffice but uh-uh. I would imagine there is no feeling of power/dominance to be had from pumping away at keyholes in silicone simulacra. http://www.s...

Re: SOLITUDE - the DESERT - the WILDERNESS
The person who says "woe to the solitary!" only gives the measure of his own cowardice. Society is a sacrifice, meritorious in proportion to its hardness. For those rich in soul, solitude is a prize and not an expiation, a period of sure value, a time when inner beauty is created, a recon...

MovingAlways, It's a matter of materialism. Whether, or, not, the world is filled with vampires. I remember a time when I was young. I was entrigued by the startling facts of how the world-is-run. It, very well, still run by katharsissisms, envy, and strife. The world is a kitty-kat clawing at your...

Re: Altruism
So, are we doomed to be isolated, Nihilistic, keyboard warriors? I'm afraid that's the case for most. But I'm no longer a part of the 'we'. Though I surely was caught up in it for many years. How can one not, at least to some degree or other? But I found the way out and must now sound the trumpet i...

Re: Altruism
The problem with altruism is that it only works if everybody is altruistic, meaning you can either hope for a utopia or you can plan for a bleak future where altruistic people are presumed weak and passive. It's the same reason why you could never hope to have a money-free society. People have to b...

Yeah, I think music's a good part of a well-rounded education. I've been trying to figure out the mathematical connection to it because musicians seem to statistically do better at math than non-musicians. I think it's because of the relations of time that you have to deal with in keeping a rhythm....
