Re: Less aware people are not stupid...they are self-absorbe
Yes ... so? Self absorbed people are deluded depleting the volume of intellect at their disposal? Is this what you want to say? Chemical imbalance, insanity? Are you American? GodsDaughter says: I don't believe self-absorbed people are deluded, they are their own best friends, they look to themselv...

Re: How does Logic differ from Intuition?
You don't need to know the rules of deductive reasoning if your intuition is already 100% accurate (and you somehow magically know this to be so). In fact, you should already intuitively know the rules of deductive logic. Given that you don't, your intuition is automatically shown to be unreliable....

Re: How does Logic differ from Intuition?
Perhaps those arguing the significance of intuition - even its pre-eminence over reason - could define "intuition" for me in a purely intuitive fashion. GodsDaughter says: I know I could do that! My intuition is 100% accurate, I rely on my intuition, so to explain intuitive intuitively I ...

Re: How does Logic differ from Intuition?
How does Logic differ from Intuition? If logic is a set of rules we follow by deductive reasoning, nothing stands in the way of intuition. Intuition is it's purest form of thought. So this tells me that logic is intuition in itself but deduced to rationalization. Doesn't sound like you know what yo...

Your info re Ron Paul is inaccurate and in some cases, incorrect. You really should investigate what he's all about before drawing such uninformed conclusions. Re: What is your definition of LOGIC?
Logic is what Aristotle and Frege say it is. Its just a game of deduction based on a set of rules like chess. You can say some pretty crazy stuff logically, that makes no sense intuitively, common sensically, or neurobiologically. Basically its just a knife to cut up a sentence you already have, yo...

Re: What is the function of gossip?
Gossip unites or serves as a tie that binds a community. Before mass communication, gossip was how news was spread. Newspapers enjoyed a brief stint in history as the means of spreading information (or mis- or disinformation.) Before that, people have always talked about other people. A person's re...
