"Our Destiny is to Rule Over the Inferior Races!!!"

No, not a quote from Hitler or Goëring; it is Menachem Begin:

Arriving before Leaving - the rules are in question

Can you have an effect before a cause? Just wondering. Doesn't bother me much.

Re: My Motorcycle Blog

Tomas, you sound like a fun guy full of life. We would get along fine. Check out my blog soon because I just got back from the track. As for 'leaning' or 'hanging off'......you just can't turn these bikes at these speeds without 'hanging off' or putting your knee on the track. You mention 'American ...

Re: My Motorcycle Blog

Well DH, I am like you. I love to watch racing, so I started to think about track days. And then I have noticed WAY more cops EVERYWHERE now that we are into the New World Odor and all of that. I was traveling way too fast all over the countryside - so I thought I would try a track day. In one day a...

Re: My Motorcycle Blog

Great reply, DH. That about covers it. As for 'why racing?' That is sort of what my blog is about. I want to simply describe what I am doing, because that is interesting, but I also am sort of asking myself 'why racing?' I enjoy watching it because I find it graceful and beautiful to see. And, I kno...

My Motorcycle Blog

Hello peoples. I decided to strip my blog down and focus it entirely on my new motorcycle racing adventure. I will be going to the track, discussing racing and riding, and, this should be fun - trying to relate 'riding' to all sorts of things in life that may seem or not seem related. It could be fu...

Re: Enlightened man needs insight from Geniuses

Yes the card tricks can be really amazing. I've seen tricks that defy all explanation. I wonder how the person committed to pure rationalism sees these things. It must keep you up at night. It would me. What do you do when you encounter something which just can't be explained by any logical or scien...

Re: Enlightened man needs insight from Geniuses

I'm not sure if a chart could quickly be put together for any number over 50 that adds up correctly vertically, horizontally and diagonally. -- Plus adds up in all the 4 box areas that he drew all over the chart. (see video). But, anyway, this is NOT the problem, of course. This is a side issue. The...

Re: Enlightened man needs insight from Geniuses

Try making up a chart like that based on other numbers over 50. They are extrememly difficult to make add up correctly. But, I'm no genius, so I leave it to you. The only thing that seems to make any logical sense is that the magician either had a camera trained on the woman writing the number down ...

Re: Enlightened man needs insight from Geniuses

Yes, I did have some additional info. She was talking about it. Here is more of her description: He never touched the piece of paper after he initially handed it to me. He stepped away from the table, I covered the paper with my hand, folded it and put it in my purse. My friends were behind me and t...

Re: Enlightened man needs insight from Geniuses

What are you talking about? The magician never touched or saw the paper again. The woman covered her number as she wrote it and then folded it up and put it in her purse. How would the magician know what number she wrote down?

Enlightened man needs insight from Geniuses

I saw the following on another website. It is a very strange bit of 'trickery.' I don't claim to be a genius or even wise, but I know you do. I only claim to be enlightened and point out that you misuse this term. Anyhoo, knowing that you don't believe in magic or funny unseen forces or ESP or anyth...

What is eternal has always been. An enlighted person sees that he is and always was enlightened, and he sees all other people as already enlightened. They just don't know it. They are like a woman with glasses looking all over the house for her glasses.

Whoever wrote that silly story about the sage and the boat was pretty arrogant. The fact remains that everyone will have to live out the karma coming their way - regardless if they are enlightened or not. This is good and evil, pleasure and pain. It involves people you haven't even met yet. I have t...

Clearly, none of those folk were enlightened. Unwise knows more about enlightenment than any of them did.
All of those quotes were uttered by a SEEKER, not a finder. They were uttered BEFORE enlightenment was obtained. None of these statements make any sense to the one who has obtained.

Sometimes I wonder how many years it will take for the brightest person here to finally realize that enlightenment never comes to a person. It NEVER comes to the one who thinks: "I will do this." "I think this." "This is the sort of person I am." "I am seeing thing...

The mind is subject to the whims of hormones and chemical imbalances - all leading to falsehood. One only has a chance of understanding the truth with the mind, but that chance is slim - and any bodily connection makes a distortion of truth. Either loving or hating the body is an attachment to some...

On the same thread that you challenge us to let go of attachment, you post a link to your personal blog that seems to celebrate your highly superflous lifestyle. But you misunderstand. It is not ME who speaks of attachment and non-attachment. It is YOU. You people. So, I'm only asking you to consid...

You are making this all to difficult. It is about hunger. Hunger is attachment. You are all attached to food - and to the body. The tried and proven method of rising about bodily attachments is to fast. You should all give up peanutbutter. Go on a 6 day water fast. No food. Why just give up boners? ...

You are making this too difficult. You are up in your head. Don't you want to be free of attachments? What greater attachment is there than eating and avoidance of hunger? Therefore, let this be where you hone your nonattachment. Do not let your search of Poptarts and peanutbutter interfere with you...

As you wise ones must know, a person in authentic total awareness of Reality in the form of Consciousness is in samadhi. I don't know if you have ever seen a person in this state, but they would die if they remained in it. There was a woman guru I used to read about who wrote remarkable things. She ...
